Black Pepper

Black pepper plant (Piper Nigrum)

Source: India. Latin name: Piper nigrum. Family: Piperaceae. 

Distilled from the black peppercorns, it has a warm, peppery aroma. Some traditional uses: to energize, for increasing circulation, to warm and relieve muscle aches and stiffness, for fighting colds, flu and infections. Blends well with: Basil, bergamot, cajeput, cypress, eucalyptus, frankincense, eucalyptus, geranium, ginger, grapefruit, hyssop, lavender, lemon, sweet  marjoram, nutmeg, palmarosa, pine, rosemary, sandalwood, tea tree, ylang-ylang.
