Sweet Almond Base Oil

Essential oils should be mixed with a base oil. Sweet Almond oil is the classic quality carrier oil for massage. Very pale yellow in color. This is one of the most popular carrier oils. It has little smell, is rich in protein, emollient, and nourishing-a good source of vitamin D. Sweet almond is also very lubricating. This versatile oil can be used for all skin types, it gently lubricating and softening the skin and is said to give it elasticity, helping to prevent wrinkling.
